This is an appalling practice and i am stuck with it because Milton keynes is expanding so quickly that other practices are not taking patients outside of there postcode. Walnut Tree is impossible to get an appointment over the phone- constantly engaged so you have no option but to leave work and get in a queue. The receptionists are awful, with zero empathy or patient service. The repeat prescription service is hit and miss, you often have to go back in person and request it again. I have had consultant referrals that have requested my practice to refer me to other types of consultant investigations- they forgot to do it ! I have had hospital scan referrals and have had to chase the practice for the results ( Potential brain issues) which is rather difficult when you cannot get an appointment on the day or book one in advance. it is a practice that is geared to serve unemployed or retirees, those that can turn up at 08.00 and take an appointment any time , not someone that works and cannot just leave work on the chance of an appointment and then leave work again to attend the appointment. A very very poorly managed practice. If you have a choice, go elsewhere.

Dr Murray made me feel she had time for me, even though it was an on the day short appointment and listened to everything I told her. She explained to me what was the best course of action and why. I have always had wonderful treatment from all the staff, including doctors, receptionists, nurses and everyone over the 23 plus years I have been a member/patient of the practice of the practice, and they all perform small miracles given the number of patients they have to deal with.
